No, govt pays what it does now, in order to get doctors to accept patients. When it controls the entire market, it will no longer have to, and will instead drop pay rates, and begin reducing services.

and you'll see american doctors start fleeing the usa, to go to countries with private systems.

driving wait times for everything up massively.
