The talk was it was a possibility he would start. If you go back to around December X made some comments about the coach getting on him and how he responded. It was the same time reports were coming out about McKinney. X and Mckinney were pretty close. So who knows what those dynamics were. As a critic of how CM has used his personel and offensive pace philosophy I think certain things had to shake out. Tilmon, Dru, Mark and Pickett to me are good slower pace players for what CM wanted to do. X is a better up tempo and isolation player. Yes he makes mistakes but that come with the territory and some of that should be tolerated as risk vs reward. The issue now is what does CM do from this point forward into next season with everyone healthy and available.
