Same mindset as the overpopulated deer herd in Shawnee Mission Park.
The simplest solution was sharpshooters, but the public had a shìt fit and offered up all kinds of unworkable solutions.
Trapping and relocation just stresses the deer and creates a problem elsewhere. They are overpopulated due to the lack of predators and humans have to fill that role.
Look at the wild hog problems across much of the country. Invasive species that breed like rabbits and are destructive on farmland. Choot 'em. Trap 'em. Remove 'em. Kill 'em.
