against a hapless Ole Miss team.

We haven't won 2 games in a row all season. Kind of hard to believe. But after a good win last night @Vandy we have a great chance to win consecutive games for the first time this season. If we follow that up with a home win against Auburn we will be on a 3 game winning streak heading into the finale @ Alabama, a game that will likely decide who finishes 8th in the SEC and gets the AQ bid to the WNIT. The Auburn game will be tough though, even at home. Last night Auburn gave Miss St all they could handle, leading them by 11 at halftime before finally falling 92-85 in OT. I always worry about going up against Auburn’s pressing defense, given our turnover problems (another 18 last night, just over our average).

Had a nice glimpse of the future last night as Frank exploded for 24 points and Blackwell filled the stat sheet with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

If we win out we will almost certainly finish 8th in the SEC. if we beat Ole Miss and Auburn but lose at Bama, the most likely scenario is a 3 way tie with Georgia and Alabama. Since we would each be 1-1 against each other, it would then come down to who has a win over the best teams in the conference. Which means it would come down to whether Arkansas or LSU finishes higher in the final SEC standings. We would hope that is LSU, since we beat them. Georgia beat Arkansas.

The bottom 7 teams in the SEC are 4-45 against the top 7 teams.
