Farmers getting 100k checks from the government, what happened to pull yourself up by your bootstraps? And nobody cared. Why? Because they are overwhelmingly white. Obama was labeled the food stamp President and several people said he won because people want free stuff. It gets no freer than this.
Excellent points in the article, about how Trump makes a bad policy (tariffs) and to avoid political fallout, uses taxpayer money to give out to those affected. Would be at the top of every Fox news hour if this were Obama. Just another example of the difference in standards.
