It is a losing proposition to tell people this economy really isn’t working and we need big changes. The experience of the voters tells them otherwise and this disingenuous message simply rings hollow.
To say yes, things are really good but here is how we make them better and more in line with values we prefer, could resonate. But in their hatred and bitterness toward Trump they simply cannot allow themselves to give him any credit. And in that they devalue their message with the part of America they need if they wish to win the White House.
