the sentence, where are the patriots at...the AT is unnecessary.
It is superfluous and ignorant.
I am not a grammarian, i'm just a pain in the ass about people who speak so poorly that they embarrass themselves.
There is an old joke about at VT and UVa guy talking. The hokie says, "Where's the football field at?"
The yahoo says "At the university, we endeavor not to end sentences with prepositions."
The hokie thinks for a minute (maybe longer, we're not very smart) and says finally, "Where's the football field at, ass hole?"
