I can only do it when I'm off work. On those days I go to benzinga and look at their premarket movers. The massive movers preferably, 30% or better. Wait for the madness to settle down and pull the trigger when the charts look good and tye stock has dropped. I very rarely buy a stock that has been rising more than a couple days. Rsi, stochastics, Bollinger bands and moving average are considered. Earnings dates are always involved. I don't buy when earnings are nearing.
Long term trading is always in play. HRB takes forever to rise to $28-30 but it will. Plus a dividend.
