Things at first impression define the poor, the middle class and the rich in a liberals mind.
The more people on food stamps, welfare and stacked on top of each other in apartments the less people can be defined by class and the more they can be controlled. Two birds with one stone for a lib? Bleeding out the god fearing middle class traditional American Dream in the same process.
