SEC teams don’t even get an at large bid to the NCAA tournament. And I’m not counting us who of course won’t go.

Typically even the worst SEC teams still have decent RPIs and easily have winning records. It’s still way early but man TAMU, Ole Miss, and Auburn are really struggling. And Miss St was not highly regarded coming in, and they haven’t played anyone decent so who knows how good they will be.

The problem for those three teams is if they rack up too many losses in non conference play, their RPI won’t matter because they may not finish with at least a .500 record to qualify.
