I was at the game when Rock Bridge played Bradley Beal's high school team for the state championship. Rock Bridge had a great team that year, with Ricky Kreklow and the big 6'8" kid who later starred at Columbia College. Rock Bridge was dominating in the first half, and if I remember right, still leading mid-way through the second half. Then Beal sort of took over the game, scoring a bunch of points, I think a couple of steals. It didn't help Rock Bridge that Kreklow was playing on a badly sprained ankle, and he wasn't moving well by the end of the game.

Anyway, it was an early glimpse of Beal's talent. It was too bad MU didn't get him, but I never got the impression from recruiting reports that he had the slightest interest in MU.
