until they get their ass saved by a good one who knows the law and how to resolve their clients really thorny problems. I have a sheath of Hallmark cards from clients who I've really helped over the years and who were so appreciative they gave me a card (or bought dinner / or gave me a signed jersey / or a box of Pro V-1s).
It's a great feeling. A lot of people hate attorneys because good ones will also do the best they can for clients, many of whom created their own ****ing problems and would be super ****ed if it weren't for their counsel. Lot of those type a**holes here by the way.
