I grew up in the KC area. In the early '70s, all you had was ABC, NBC and CBS. My parents weren't that into college sports, so I became a USC fan because they were on TV a lot and I hated Notre Dame. It wasn't until later in the '70s when the independent station Channel 41 came along that I got the Al Onofrio Show and got to watch Big 12 basketball on the Mizlou network that I started to get into Mizzou.
