"the earth was created with the appearance of age, and the light beams were placed into existence by Him speaking them into existence. They did not need millions or billions of years to travel to earth, as He created the beams as well as the light sources."
I'd love to see him explain SN1987A, the supernova in the Large Magellanic Cloud, 163,000 light years away.
If the universe is only 6,000 - 10,000 years old, and God created all the light beams so that light didn't have to travel great distances to get to Earth.. why did he create light beams of a supernova 6,000-10,000 light years away? And why did he create a star already in a collapsed state?
