It’s still early, and stats are distorted early due to the huge difference in competition thus far. But Mizzous stats are legit because they played one of the toughest schedules in the SEC and top 25 the opening weekend.
Coach Anderson’s strengths are defense and pitching. She knows how important those things are for winning games. She has to be proud of how the fielding was overall so far. And the pitching stat of 41 strikeouts vs just 7 walks. That's what wins games.
Doesn’t hurt to have one of the better hitting coaches in the nation in Chris Malveaux. He was a great hire. Has done wonders with Hattie Moore in particular.
