REALLY important to anyone but themselves. Most of them. But the high visibility vermin in that profession make it difficult for the honest ones. Like with politicians. With so much lying and cheating and spinning the "facts" you'd think an honest reporter or an honest politician would stand out.

But the honest ones are swept away in a high tide of lies and corruption.

As a profession, they have plssed away their credibility and integrity on ideological issues instead of honestly observing and reporting them.
