Overall it looks pretty solid and defensible, but has a few eye openers.
The most egregious flaw is a 5-0 Utah team not only not ranked in the top 25, but not receiving a single solitary vote. Not one. Come on. You wonder if there is a typo on their website. 14 teams are receiving votes and not in the top 25, including Stanford, Baylor, Tulsa, and BYU. Utah is 5-0 and beat then #14 Northwestern.
Missouri had the biggest jump of any team, rising 10 positions to #19.
Northwestern is fortunate to still be ranked with 3 losses, tied at #21 with Oregon.
Florida is very, very fortunate to have fallen just 1 spot, to #8, well above a 5-0 Michigan team at #11 that destroyed them 10-2. What’s up with that?
Alabama is lucky to have only dropped to #9, they are being ranked based on perceived potential, not on the performance of their vaunted pitching staff that got destroyed this weekend in 9-8, 8-7, and 8-0 losses.
I thought Minnesota would drop further than #14, more like the 16-18 range. Still well above #19 Mizzou who beat them.
SEC has 8 of the top 20 teams, with LSU the highest at #7.
