Dems and Repubs can't pass a spending bill, let alone pull off something insidious like forcing a bloc of millions into perpetual poverty. Self-destructive behavior and adherence to a rotten culture is the enemy, not some private school zoobs in DC.
"almost no investment and good schools in their community"...I'll trade you a less-funded school for a two parents that care about their kids all day.
Ending the drug war will NOT solve the problem in the black community. Drugs represents fast money, easy money, money gotten without the hard work and sacrifice of learning. Nothing will change until the black community starts valuing an education/trade and starts valuing their own collective existence. Blacks and their sorry white enablers have become reflexive in their excuses for failure, and all other cultures see through it...we are already at a point where Koreans, Chinese, Pakis, Indians, and Latinos have come to America and achieved more in the 1st generation than 7 generations of African Americans have.
