if you attack a cop, you get an added charge. If you resist a cop's arrest, you get an added charge.
The rate of charge of murder for a cop is much lower than any other citizen for any type of death...they even have this thing called "justified homicide" for cops.
There is no such thing as self defense against a cop..it is called resistance or assault on a cop....
