"President Barack Obama wants NASA chief Charles Bolden to engage Muslim nations. Mr. Bolden has repeatedly said future trips to Mars and elsewhere won't be possible without extensive international cooperation."
That's the summary of the video. Bolden was not interviewed, it was more fox news opinion fluff that doesn't actually address the ideas pushed by Obama for NASA.
FROM THE BEGINNING OF HIS first term, Obama said that an INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WAS NEEDED TO CONTINUE MANNED SPACE FLIGHT and that it was IMPERATIVE TO INCLUDE MUSLIM MAJORITY NATIONS IN THESE ENDEAVORS as well as non-traditional space powers (i.e. not Russia). Getting the Middle East involved in space exploration was the whole goal. Recognizing the history of Math and Science achievment in the Muslim world was not that goal, but it was a side effect.
