In his opinion, were the takeaways from his speech. Opinion is, by definition, biased.
I understand your other point about there being far more liberal bias in the media. That is true, but media is inherently liberal, so it's to be expected. That's why intelligent people use their brains to think critically about everything they hear in the media. Unfortunately, our society has become increasingly dumbed down, and jump to conclusions based on something on the news. What everyone forgets, is that these media companies are all fighting for ratings, so whoever is the most polarizing will win on their bottom lines. You have Republicans watching CNN and Democrats watching FOX, just to see "how they cover it". There's nothing altruistic about how the major networks report news.
This may be sounding like a rant, so I'll spare you anymore.
