right to do what he did. We also have that same freedom and are free to express our opinion of his actions.
Freedom of speech does not mean you are free from the repercussions when you speak. It just means the government cannot take any actions. Was Kap arrested? Was he fined by the government? The owner of his team was well within his rights to cut him loose because he reflected poorly on his franchise.
If you are going to lament freedom of speech you should at least try to understand it first.
