Even then, you need to store the energy for when the wind doesn't blow. Batteries suck azz. A truckload can power a town of 500 homes no businesses for 4 hours. Throw them away every 5-6 years and talk about environmental issues

The gas producers are the biggest pushers of Wind-Solar because you need the instant on power of gas turbines to compensate for this waste
And they are beautiful to look at in the countryside.
