It is his oxygen. I have long said the most effective thing dems could do is turn him off and simply treat him as a conventional president. Make him stick to policy, details and "boring" politics. Don't engage in the negative and make him deal with the drudgery of politics. But they simply feed him day in and day out. And they will never win that fight.
