He did not. His speech was great, the socialists humidified themselves on a raskolian level, and he did not need to rub their nose in their own mess.
He could have, can't really say that he should have.
I blasted ted cruz and lindsey graham for suggesting he play it the way he did.
We don’t know what would have happened if he had used my strategy. But we know he didn’t use it, and the speech was fabulous.
He did twice mention socialism in a decidedly negative light and had multiple mentions of the previous administration.
