turnout was much higher than expected for an incumbent suggesting high GOP enthusiasm, and not surprisingly the vote total was high for an incumbent...

..in fact, Ingraham claimed last night Trump's incumbent total beat Obama's to set a new record but I have not been able to confirm that in writing anywhere.
...and, as widely reported last night on Fox and CNN, dem turnout was lower than expected. Hmmm.
