"the popular vote", but the powers that be flipped the results to Hilary via the super delegates. Unlike all previous primaries they wouldn't publish the actual results.

I think something similar may have happened in New Hampshire. Bernie won there, as I recall, but the super delegates made it look like Hillary was a lot closer than the actual votes went, especially with the two states combined.

Per the actual votes, Bernie should have had an impressive lead, but instead Hillary had a small lead, and the Democrats tried obfuscating how the actual voting went.
