have an impeachment with all the house witnesses on one side.
You can have an impeachment with only one paty supporting it.
You can have an impeachment where all of the witnesses, that we are permitted to hear, were opinion witnesses, not fact witnesses.
You can have an impeachment where the one fact witness undermined the position of the socialists by saying that he was told directly by trump that there was no quid pro quo and that he didn't want anything. But he was free to give his opinions, presumptions and deductions that had no basis in evidence.
You can have an impeachment with the socialists not following the rules for witnesses or the rules for subpoenas.
You can have an impeachment with secret testimony in the basement of the capitol, and no one is allowed to discuss the testimony.
But you cannot have an acquittal because there was no trial because the senate did not allow the witnesses that the socialists demanded, the same witnesses that the socialists made a conscious decision not to call.
