Completely innocent of any legitimate impeachable offense

It would be like a person being arresting and charged for some action that has never been prosecuted before for which they make up some vague charge that sounds good for the jury despite it not being in any statute. Prosecutors just hoping the jury is dumb enough to not understand the law and ramifications of not following the law, or as in this case, a jury that is just so emotional that they don't care.

Not unreasonable IMO to believe Trump should have shown better judgement and used other avenues to get the Burisma thing investigated (something no democrat should complain about if they believe there is nothing there/in fact Bidens should be pushing for it if it would clear them and they are not).

But that is a process/judgement thing and no way makes him guilty of an impeachable offense. Regardless of if you believe the Bidens were involved in corruption, Biden's lack of judgement in still being the lead in Ukraine and getting a prosecutor fired considering the circumstances/position of his son was a much larger judgement gaffe given the obvious conflict of interest that even officials from his own side admitted. The fact is he bragged about it, which just demonstrates both poor judgement as well as the arrogance that goes with knowing he likely won't be called on it by the press.
