Most conservatives want area's of big gov. reduced. Even some Leftist want certain area's of the Gov. reduced.
The issue is what people want reduced.
Most conservatives don't want the Military reduced, or any law enforcement/Border control slashed or cut they want it increased. On the Flip side Conservatives want spending on incarceration to be drastically reduced, not the amount of prisoners reduced but their over all services cut to the bare bones and for them to be forced to work for free while serving time.
Most conservatives are for infrastructure improvements and funding as well,that don't entail forced Labor cost and such BS.
What conservatives want cut is the BS Social programs,the over reach of the EPA, IRS, EEOC,National Gallery of Art, Funding for NPR etc. etc.
While Leftist want to cut are the Military spending,Law enforcement spending, Prison expenses..by non-prosecution and emptying the prisons.
Of course Leftist want to increase all Social services and funding to so called citizen betterment programs. Elevating the citizens of the burden of providing for themselves even most basic needs.
The divide is on what each side wants cut....
