Martin's problem with offense

I see a lot of posts about how Martin can't coach offense. Which may be true. In his defense he turned over his assistants when he came to Mizzou. Part of that was to install a more NBA "positionless" style of offense.

This would have worked if he could have continued to recruit at or near the level he did in 2017, but he hasn't. To run this offense you need multiple players on the floor that can create their own shot by getting to the basket (and finishing) and/or making 3's. We can't really do either.

Martin is going to have to rethink the offense (at least in the short term) or recruit better to be successful here. It's really that simple.
