Mitchell Smith, and soon Jordan Willmore .... and I am not including the Porters due to their injuries. All these players are listed as 6'10' or taller and that's what prompts my concern. Coach Martin has yet to prove he can develop any "Bigs". I am not a coach and I have never played college basketball, but as a fan I can see the results and they have not been particularly good. With only one scholarship to give did it make sense to use it on what everyone views as a project.

Three years in and I had hoped by now the program would look better than it does. With the addition of the Porters and Tilman in year one I thought Coach CM would have something to build on recruiting wise. Unfortunately that does not appear to be the case. I sure hope CM can make some progress soon. Go Tigers!
