No taxpayer money involved.
Dems love to shriek to young voters about student loan debt forgiveness for votes, while downplaying how they want taxpayers to fund it.
Personally, the people involved had a choice. they chose poorly. That being said, they should get 50% of their debt eliminated, if they couldn't find a job in their field of study.
No, not by the us taxpayers. By the universities, colleges that profited from these loans. 542 billion dollars in college endowments in the united states right now.
Higher education, you overstaffed, overcharged, overpromised, and under delivered to your students.
Pay the price for your malfeasance, because you (being the smartest and brightest) knew better than what you chose to do.
Instead of punishing innocent taxpayers.
Oh well. Never happen.
