Pretty simple. What happened is not even in dispute. Trump denied the testimony and handing over of docs to legitimate Congressional hearings. Now it appears the GOP Senate is trying to finish the seal of the cover-up. Again, fact of the shakedown using taxpayer money to force foreign leader to interfere with US election on behalf of president re-elect effort is not in dispute. That the GOP Senate is behaving as corrupt cops telling folks to move along, nothing to see here should disturb you. That it doesn't is on you.
