dog. he's had plenty of reasons to attack Iran:

tankers
SA refinery
shooting down a drone
firing missiles at US forces via proxies
etc.

These were Time guy's words, with CNN commentator agreeing.

In every case Trump chose diplomacy over military action

When they killed an American, they crossed the line.

He did say the killing of the general was an overstep, but understood the reasoning given the opportunity to take out someone the UN had designated a terrorist without also taking out a bunch of innocents.
