Fact is that Trump inherited a good economy that was building steam. He has by himself done nothing but make patty cake with Dictator from NK to Saudi Arabia and Russia and shuffle military money - and STEAL that military money from approved projects and communities that represent funds long fought for to actually address needs in order to "build" a mile or two of his vanity wall.
The lack of a great candidate from the Dems is disconcerting, but at this point in the '08 electiion, Hillary Clinton was far ahead and Obama but a distant threat. We know how that worked out.
Something else at play is an opposition that is HIGHLY motivated to defeat Trump. You downplay that. Four years ago he was not taken seriously and half the game was getting over distaste with distasteful Hillary. Today there is a HUNGER to get this mthrfckr OUT. We haven't seen that before. Trump has not GAINED voters eithe.
Only shame and fiasco with Kav was the utterly shameful histrionics of him and Graham.
