If Jackson gives up easy points because he is out of position, late with help defense or not switching effectively on screens, he allows the other team to get easy points. That's a problem that negates his ability to score.

A Rick Barnes offense is going to work effectively to create open shots - finding the weaknesses. Jackson creates some of those.
