One may properly be troubled by our nation killing the Iranian general, but the blunt truth is he had had and would have had no hesitancy in the future to murder Americans. It often isn't possible to make deals that last with such people. They will talk, agree and then ignore them. All they understand is the use of force. If it hurts them enough, they stop their bad behavior. One can wish the world was not that way, but it is.
