But it really does not bother me if a bunch of people at an entertainment event are asked to applaud for 60 seconds to recognize a service man or woman. Is it overdone? Yes, most likely. But if this is what is going on during a timeout rather than having everyone check their phone to see about scores or what they are eating for dinner that night, I can't really say it moves my needle.
