targeting a regime. The U.S. holds no animus for the people of Iran. The purpose of the economic sanctions is to limit Iran's ability to fund their nuclear program, their military and their terroristic activities in the ME and elsewhere. That's it. The Iranian people will suffer to be sure, but they are not the target of American sanctions. Do you understand this concept now?
