how they so often point to this collection of Jewish myth, an anthology commonly referenced as "The Bible" as arbiter of all things when the VERY set of writings condemns their own behaviour.

There is a terrific tune by the Avett Brothers "Ill with Want" from which I lift here:

"The more I have the more I think
I'm almost where I need to be
If only I could get a little more
I need for something . . .
Ill with want and poisoned by this ugly greed"

Funny thing is these folks are self-righteous about their embrace of Venal Sin.
