Nor will I ever, but I appreciate your viewpoint and agreement with this author.
I agree the “State” that you and your other buddies here seem so infatuated with is a symbol... part of the Flag’s ‘meaning’. I can also agree it reflects patriotism, militia, and the wars we’ve participated in the past. But I don’t believe that is the end all be all, as if we are some sort of Communist, War-mongering state. I believe it also represents “our country” in its “intensive life”. Life, liberty .. the freedoms for which we all are blessed to have in this country.
Call me a State worshipper, stupid, naive, whatever. That won’t bother me and it won’t cause me to change my mind.
