Again, why not? They aren't held to any standards or consequences, because this administration has nothing to do with policy etc. It's all about sentiment.
Openly lying about the General being tied to 9/11. The 1000th thing that would've been a huge deal under the Obama administration, whereas Trump Adm. gets a pass.
