I think Americans are just put off by how different Muslims can at least seem to be with their veils, robes and kneeling for prayer. Jews appear to have that good old friendly God - the one who myth has it sired Jesus, the American God icon, blond hair, blue-eyed Boy Wonder, the actual teachings of which American by and large ignore. The fact that Jesus was undoubtedly a swarthy, dark-skinned hairy Jew is ignored. The actual Jesus looked way more like a Mohammed than the popular Beach Boys Jesus.

But those stinking Arabs with their weird 'Mosques" and WEIRD word for God. Why don't they just say God rather than the Allah stuff. Again, white America doesn't undersand Allah is Elohim or El of basically yes Yahweh, Jesus's dad.

I think that is why Ace, Straight up xenophobia.
