some cash might resent being called entitled, racist, bigoted deplorables for years and then cling to a candidate who repudiates that message.
The NYT folks must be pretty dumb like most of the folks on this board who don't understand why anyone votes for a goofball like Trump.
What's the alternative to those folks? Vote for people who revile you, condemn you, call you deplorable?
