I think Trump has done more to reach across the aisle than any other president in my lifetime, and has been rebuffed time and again by the dems.
His reaction has been to shoot verbal daggers back, which is worthy of criticism if you are sensitive to that. But if you are sensitive to Trump's verbal daggers, you should be equally as sensitive to the lies the dems are throwing at Trump, such as the racist, law violator bunk that has been proven false.
The dems are wasting a golden opportunity to have input on bipartisan legislation under Trump. I think if they had played their cards right, they could have also convinced Trump to take a middle ground on even partisan issues such as gun control and immigration. I think history will record the dems treatment of Trump as a true failure.
