contact is NOT an automatic call, as he often is. If contact has no impact on the play at all, to the extent that can be determined, let it go. That would cut a lot of calls.

And, STOP punishing perfectly good D and awarding the dribbler when in fact its often charging. By far the refs biggest mistakes.
