made no salient points. Politicians are elected to office for set terms. Very few jobs have a definite time limit to them. When a CEO is hired they give them a contract and will continuously extend the contract as long as they are performing to board standards. It is the same with most jobs.

The way you fire a politician is to vote for their opponent the next time their term expires.

Over 120 million people voted in the last election, less than 600 people should NOT be able to easily overturn that result. Changing the will of the voters should be a very difficult process.
