The House's job is to build the case and present it. It is not the job of the Senate to help build the case. The House has its case and rushed to get it done. Now, they should live with the case they built. If they wanted more, they had the opportunity. The elected speed over content. Now they live with that decision. That is how it works.

Except for partisan apologists like you who want it both ways.
