Nothing more, nothing less.

There are some things that will raise his potential, i.e. increasing size, strength and speed.

Development does not raise a kid's ultimate potential level, it merely moves him closer to it.

There are no "development secrets". It is largely no more than teaching. And to some extent motivation.

Every football coaching staff seeks to develop their players, to get them to play to their potential.
